Default Suggestion: Officers' + Leader's Channel

I have run into the problem many times that I only want to talk with the other officers and leader, rather than going into the guild hall and having a member pop in, listening to what we are saying. I would like to have a channel that only allows officers and the leader to type in, and for only them to see. It would greatly enhance the privacy I want. I know I can just talk in a private channel on vent or ts, but sometimes I can't use my mic. Any thoughts on this? It's a really simple addon, which would be veeeeeeeeery useful.

nice idea im personly not an officer but if you were talking bout some1 being an A-- to other guildies and didnt want them to hear it would be pretty helpful to those that are Leader or officers or jus to descus something that could be hidden to the rest of the guild such like a event they are playing but dont want to promis and think of all the private messaging you would need to get that threw your whole alliance secretly

Form a party in the guild hall and team chat becomes a private channel. If thats not enough people, you can do a skirmish match for up to 16 people.

But what if some of the officers are in UW, FoW, or whatever. They're doing something they can't leave. I know you'll just say to wait, but what if the matter can't wait?

ever use VENT or TS?

Im my Guild there are no Eliteist Officers and if we need a meeting we use VENT or TS... its far more effective.

And I'm not elitist. I just would like some privacy when I need it.

This is what the original idea was, and it had been quashed because members didn't like not being involved in the ability to talk in the alliance chat. I don't see any reason to hold privacy from your members, it's not good leadership.

If you want privacy go with the skirmish/team chat idea. Or just make a private channel in vent/TS if people are doing stuff. Even if you don't ahve vent/TS I'm betting that one of your friends/alliances has a TS/Vent they would let you use.
